Dan DeRosa is responsible for NCPIRG's student organizing, program and organizational development, and research. Previously, Dan was Environment New Jersey's field organizer and canvass director between 2010 and 2014, working on campaigns to reduce global warming pollution, protect the Jersey Shore and stop gas drilling and its waste from impacting the state's watersheds. Dan started with PIRG as a college student on NJPIRG's campaign for a public option to reduce healthcare costs back in 2009. After graduating, he directed the New Brunswick, New Jersey citizen outreach office, coordinating a staff of up to 50 people to educate over 100,000 citizens each summer on pressing environmental and public health issues. Dan has a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University.
